How to: Order Your Bespoke Jacket

Whether it’s something special to wear on your wedding day, a beautiful Birthday gift or you simply want to show the world how bad‑ass you really are... you’ve come to the right place! 😜

Check out the 6 easy steps it takes to get your hands on the bespoke jacket of your dreams 😍

  1. Purchase from Etsy

First head over to my Etsy where you’ll find 4 options to choose from:‑

🌙 Just wording
✨ Wording + a small, simple design
🌛 Wording + a larger bespoke design (most of my customers go for this option)
🌝 Wording + larger design + sleeve/collar detail

Remember to let me know your wedding date or the date you’d like your jacket ‑ I usually work with a 6‑8 week turn around.

In a rush?

Get in touch and I’ll do my best to get you looking fly in no time!

2. Design discussion

Next, we’ll have a brief chat about exactly what you’d like on your jacket. Send me pictures, themes, inspirations, quotes, colours and anything else you’d like to see on your design to the email below. You can be intricate and specific, or you can be a little more vague and see what I can come up with! Don’t worry though, you can still tweak and edit anything at the next stage: The digital mock‑up!

3. Finding the right jacket for you

Now which jacket? I can work on leather, faux leather, denim, suede, faux suede and I’m even thinking of trying corduroy 🤔🤔🤔
Most of my customers like to source the jacket themselves so they know it’s their style and it fits them perfectly! I can also help you source one; a vintage one, high street one, or a preloved one.

Once you’ve found your jacket and we’ve talked through your design, I’ll then send you the address to send your jacket to. Please send it with some kind of signature or tracking as I can’t be responsible for the loss of your jacket and would hate you to have to buy another one!

4. Digital Mock‑up

Once I have an idea of the kind of design you’d like I’ll begin drawing a digital mock‑up. This is the point where you can make any changes to your design whether it be wording, placement of objects or just colours.

Of course I will try and replicate my digital mock‑up as much as possible but please remember colours may be slightly different and also the more intricate details may differ.

5. Painting

Aaaaaaand we’re off! Once you’ve confirmed the final design I’ll start the painting process.

First the fabric is prepped and deglazed to ensure that the paint will stick to the fabric for a super long time. Then I’ll paint your design using high quality Angelus leather and fabric paints. The design is sealed and ready to be packaged!

Now I get a little excited and want to show you as soon as I’m done.. so I’ll most likely ask you if you want a sneak peak! If you don’t want one, no problem you’ll be seeing the real thing very soon 😏

6. Sending it back to you

I’ll then add an Ink and Alder tag, (beautifully made by @t.inkstudio) a leaflet on how to care for your jacket and a hand written note. I’ll carefully package it and send it back to you tracked and signed for 🎉

Not necessary at all... But I love to see my beautiful customers wearing their jackets because I flipping love making them for you and feel like I get to know you all a little over the course of making them for you 🥰

Thank you 🌈If you do choose me to create a jacket for you, I’m sending you a big fat hug through IG to say thank you 🤗 It means the world that you’re supporting my small business 🧡
